Announcement (1.30pm, March 17, 2020)

0. HW5 is still due on Monday, March 23.

1. There will be no class during the last 2 weeks. Please study section 13.7 Tangent Planes, 13.8 Max/Min Values from the note I wrote.

2. I strongly recommend you to try old final exam 1 and old final exam 2 (with answers). It is an excellent practice for the final exam.

3. (I change my mind) The exam will be on-line from 10-11:50 on Monday March 23 (I hope there will be no more change). The exam includes section 13.1 to 13.8.

4. If you need help, please feel free to let me know. We can talk on the phone or line. But meeting on the campus during March 16-20 is not allowed.

Instruction for the Final Exam (posted 11am, March 19, 2020)

With this situation, we are left with no choice but to conduct an on-line exam. It is not an ideal way to conduct an exam, but it is probably the only option we have.

On this coming Monday March 23 at 10am (sharp), I will post the final exam here (probably about 6 problems just like in the past exam). You will do it on your computer with your handwriting (or writing it on actual papers and take photos), just like what most of you did for the HW. When the time is up at 11:50am (or if you finish earlier), you will send me the file through my email: thotsaporn@gmail.com within noon time.

We have to use an honor system here. No consulting with other persons or internet. Note and past hw are ok. I will make an exam a little bit harder to balance the fact that you have access to your note and hw.
